Clarendon College "Bulldog" Athletics

Welcome message from Rusty Kennedy (Director of Athletics)

Welcome to the Clarendon College Athletic Web Site. This web site has been designed for easy access to information surrounding Bulldog Athletics. My sincere hope is you find it informative and entertaining.

The Bulldog Athletic Department offers four women's programs (volleyball, basketball, softball, rodeo), three men's programs (basketball, baseball, rodeo), along with co-ed cheerleading, equine judging, meats judging, and livestock judging programs. We believe activities such as intercollegiate athletics teach young men and women valuable lessons and instill lifelong traits helping them become successful citizens. Athletic scholarships are available in all of these programs, which help defray the cost of a college education.

The Bulldogs are coming off successful year and the 2007-08 athletic season looks even stronger. We will continue to accomplish our successes with quality student-athletes, and an outstanding coaching staff that has the welfare of every student-athlete at heart. The Western Junior College Athletic Conference consists of 10 Texas and New Mexico junior colleges and is well known throughout the United States as one of the top junior college conferences. The CC Rodeo team competes in the Southwest Region of the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association and our Livestock, Meats, and Equine Judging programs are highly competitive at the national level.

If you are interested in supporting the Bulldogs financially, please contact me at (806) 874-3571 or e-mail me at rusty.kennedy@clarendoncollege.edu . Your donations are tax-free and supply dollars for athletic scholarships, which in turn educate our youth. There is no better way of making a positive impact on this great nation than through education.

Thanks to the many fans like you, Our Students, Boosters, The Board of Regents, Administration, and the Bulldog Athletic Department for making Clarendon College the place to be.

Sincerely,

Rusty Kennedy, Director of Athletics
