Course Description: Open only to members of the WomenÕs Varsity Softball team.
Statement of Purpose: PHED 1123 partially satisfies the requirements for the Associates Degree at Clarendon College and is designed for transfer to a senior college.
Methods of Instruction: Lecture, readings, group work, video, presentations, and drills.
Class Policies:
1) Absence: In order to effectively complete this course, you the student need to be in class. The maximum amount of absences for this class without a penalty is 4. After 4 absences, your grade will drop one letter grade, and your grade will also drop one letter grade for each additional absence after 5.
0-4=no drop in grade
5= one drop in letter grade
6= one drop in letter grade
7= one drop in letter grade
8= probable withdrawal from class
2) Make-up work: By arrangement with Instructor
3) Plagiarism: The student will be removed from class and given the grade of F.
Grading Scale:
B= 80+
C= 70+
D= 60+
F= 60-
Grading Policies:
Participation 500 pts
Attendance 500 pts
Total 1000 pts
