BiographyCarolyn Smith

 

Ms. Carolyn Smith, born and raised in Huntsville, Alabama, received her Bachelor of Arts in Vocal Music Performance from the University of Alabama in Huntsville in 2003 where she studied voice under Mrs. Charlotte Regni, Dr. David K. Smith, and Mrs. Margaret Leach and studied conducting under Dr. Bonnie B. Sneed.  In 2005, she received her Master of Music in Choral Conducting from Arkansas State University, where she studied under Dr. Dale Miller.  In 2006, Ms. Smith completed the Specialist in Community College Teaching in Music Education, also from ASU.

 

Ms. Smith serves as the Music Program Coordinator at Clarendon College in Clarendon, TX.  She also directs the Clarendon Community Choir, rings with the First United Methodist Handbell Choir, and volunteers as music minister at St. Mary's Church.
